Clinic Policies

Our Dental Clinic Policies:
It is our aim to provide the best dental care possible, using the most up-to-date techniques and patient-friendly materials and always with the patient's concerns foremost. However, to do this in an efficient manner, we must adhere to some strict guidelines:

Appointments & Scheduling:
We respect the importance of your time and we will work very hard to schedule appointments that accommodate your scheduling needs. In return, we ask that you make every effort not to reschedule an appointment once it has been reserved. Broken and missed appointments create scheduling problems for other patients as well as the practice. If you find that you must change an appointment, we require a minimum of 48 hours notice so that we may accommodate another patient. A charge will be applied for broken appointments without the required notification. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Payment Policy:
Account balances are due at the time of service. Any other payment arrangements must be made prior to the appointment. For your convenience, we accept debit cards as well as Visa, MasterCard, and American Express, or your personal cheque. If you have dental insurance, your plan is a contract between you and your insurance company and we are not a part of that contract. Therefore we expect payment from you at the time of service. However, we will be glad to help you receive repayment from your insurance company by providing you with the necessary claim form.

Follow-up Care:
As you know, regular dental care is of the utmost importance in maintaining your dental health. A regular dental examination ensures that there are not any progressive dental problems that could lead to discomfort or loss of your teeth. In your periodic dental examination, we regularly check your mouth, for disorders such as tooth decay, faulty fillings, broken or fractured teeth, and gum diseases as well as screen for cancer. We therefore recommend that successive appointments be booked upon each visit. This way, a regular cleaning and examination interval can be maintained.
